Community Support

At PacBlue Printing, giving back has always been part of our company ethics. We are proud to give gifts of the heart and spirit to support local causes and issues such as health and humanitarian aid, the arts, prevention of animal cruelty, and the environment.

PacBlue is a proud sponsor of the following organizations that are making a difference in our local community every day.

BC SPCA - We are happy to support this organization which is committed to preventing animal cruelty. PacBlue is a dog friendly environment with three mascots who bring joy to everyone at the office. The first was Bosco, a French Bulldog and then came Ozi, an Olde Boston Bulldogge. Just recently, the third member, BO, an Olde Boston Bulldogge puppy started showing her face at the office every day. Visit the SPCA website to learn more about them.

Zajac Ranch - Each year, the Zajac Ranch for Children hosts hundreds of children with serious and chronic illnesses and disabilities who might not otherwise have a chance to enjoy a summer camp experience.

 

 

 

Canadian Cancer Society - Unfortunately the PacBlue family, like so many families has been affected closely by Cancer, most recently with the passing of one of our long term employees, Karrie Loreth-Burns (to read about her story go here).  PacBlue is proud to support the Canadian Cancer Society as it seeks to eradicate cancer and to enhance the quality of life of people living with cancer.

 

 

Flowers for Food Society - The society's vision is to provide opportunity and support for homeless, recovering people (mental affliction and/or physical addiction), and other marginalized or needy groups in Canada.

 

 

 

At PacBlue Printing we are also committed to supporting our community and environment by using sustainable practices in our operations wherever possible. As of late 2008, we have switched to using 30% recycled content paper for all our cad plotting and reprographic printing.
