Image Resolution

Bitmap images contain a fixed number of pixels, usually measured in pixels per inch (ppi). Printer resolution is measured in dots per inch (dpi).  PacBlue recommends a final image resolution of 300 dpi for small format (Brochures, Booklets, Rack card etc.) printing and a resolution of 100-200 dpi for large format (Banners, Posters, and Signage etc.) printing.

Below is a guideline for output sizes for various image resolutions for your reference.
